The "Starfield 1" image turned rapidly into this "Dreaming" background image I like so much.

I modified Starfield 1 into this image by first flattening the image, then creating a lighting effect going from lower right to upper left to give us light from the lens flare. The lens flare in the lower right was then created. I also added a few more small lens flares around to give the starfield a little more life. The Dreaming lettering was created, and a few filters (Can't remember which ones) applied to add the multi-colors to it. It was then made partly transparent. Voila! The image is alive and well. :)
