One of my first real playing art pieces. The entire image was drawn in photoshop..

The background of stars is handdrawn (Most of them got wiped out by the overlaying layers, damn it) I then created a few lens flares to get the brighter stars.

To get the nebula effect I applied 2 different cloud layers, one dark blue, one dark red which were then made mostly transparent.

There you have it, a kinda funky looking starfield. Made it a little too symetrical, what with the 4 really bright stars being lined up, but ahh well. :)
